ABOUT TAMARA Bedricky

Part Nashville, part Detroit and all singer-songwriter, Tamara Bedricky was drawn to the stage presence and musical influences of Wynonna Judd, Keith Urban and Melissa Etheridge. Michigan born, and Nashville raised is where she studied guitar and built her talent by performing at open mics and dive bars. The songwriting and melodies are true to her heart and many life experiences. If asked she will often reply, “I write what is true to me and my feelings.”

Growing up in a household that worked in the automotive industry also meant moves around the world, it was music that was the constant in Tamara’s life. It was a way for her to adapt to her surroundings and helped her deal with change. Landing in Nashville in the 90’s, Tamara established her roots and had eye-opening experiences, as Nashville is filled with so much musical talent that surrounded her and pushed her skills to a new level.

Tamara’s first break came in 2002, when she first garnered national recognition performing in New York’s Central Park SummerStage alongside recording artist Michelle Branch, as a finalist in the national singing competition. Tamara’s nominated song, “A Million Miles” was chosen from thousands of other songs.

The Central Park appearance opened doors for the talented artist and since then, she has toured the country headlining at different venues and concert events with one of them being the Detroit Music Awards. She has had several of her songs placed in a series of television shows including, One Tree Hill and Boston Legal. She has also shared the stage with other recording artists such as Paul Thorn and Ben Folds to name a few.

Tamara explains, “I love songwriting and many of my songs move away from the musical trends and try to highlight what’s important – the marriage of music and lyrics.” So here we are, we’ve lived through one of the most interesting periods in the country’s history, and Tamara has been working hard on writing songs. She feels like the time is right and “couldn’t be more excited to release some new music.”

Tamara plans to release new songs that take you back to her hometown of DETROIT Motor City

and NASHVILLE Music City.
